A Heart for helping Brazilian children

LIMIAR is a recognized child advocacy non-profit organization founded by Nancy Cameron in 1984.

LIMIAR has had an enormous and positive impact on the lives of so many children and families.

We have participated in many and varied projects, and our principle activity is to support and operate CASA LIMIAR, an orphanage in São Paulo, Brazil for children with physical handicaps and other special needs.

LIMIAR is supported largely by donations from individuals and families who believe in our mission of helping Brazilian children. LIMIAR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

CASA LIMIAR

In 2003 LIMIAR opened CASA LIMIAR São Paulo. CASA LIMIAR is a home for children facing physical challenges. Our goal is to maximize their education, enjoyment and participation in life, and to minimize the effects of their physical disabilities. Our home is maintained only by sponsors.  Learn more...
