3 TBSP. Oil 3 to 4 Garlic Cloves - crushed 2 cups Rice - uncooked 4 cups Water 1 & 1/2 tsp. Salt Put oil in a heavy pan and heat. Add garlic and cook until golden brown. Add rice and fry until it begins to turn brown. Add salt and water and lower the heat. Cover and cook 20 minutes without stirring. Add more water if needed. Brazilian rice should be dry and each piece separate. |
