LIMIAR CHILDREN WAITING FOR ADOPTION


VAL (6)

Val had a hard start in life but is progressing well. Physical and speech therapy are recommended,. He has general delays, but is running and playing; vision and hearing are normal. Latin appearance.

VITORIA (6)

Is delayed in development due to infantile autism and cerebral palsy. She is walking independently and making more and more contact with others. She has much potential and needs a family who can dedicate much time and attention to see her bloom. Latin/Caucasian appearance. 
ROBERT (9)
His teacher says he is a good student who demonstrates enthusiasm and interest. He makes friendships easily and is respectful of adults; he is affectionate and not aggressive with others. He takes medication for hyperactivity with excellent results. "His physical, motor, verbal, cognitive and emotional development are all within normal parameters." Caucasian
GABRIEL (9)

A happy, involved, bright boy. Caucasian/Latin appearance

ANDERSON (10) 

Anderson is full of vitality (hyperactive).  He takes medication for hypothyroidism which is well-controlled.  He needs a family where he can be the only child or have one older brother and in which the parents can set firm and authoritiative limits, while remembering his need for affection and attention.  Long neglected, Anderson is delayed in his development.  He is gradually improving in his ability to deal with frustrations.  He can be sweet and loving and is  enjoyed by his social mother. 

LUIZ (10)
is a healthy boy with stable emotions and good relationships with both adults and children. He enjoys playing with smalllc ars, playing hide and seek, singing, watching TV. Respects the rules and is not oppositional. Indian appearance.  

FERNANDO (10)

Fernando came into care in late 2004. A serious boy who does well in school. Loves sports

EDSON (11)

a little guy who desperately wants someone to love him. Edson is an intelligent boy, spontaneous, enjoying conversation. He enjoys learning activities and likes to draw and paint. Caucasian/Latin appearance

ANDRESSA (13)
Andressa is described as a very intelligent girl who easily makes friends. She is affectionate and sweet.  At her orphanage, she enjoys ballet and dance. She is developing well in all areas. Our worker calls her a sweet child. Indian  appearance.  

EDDY (13)
is a handsome Latin boy of slight build who is developing normally in all areas.  He is emotionally stable and intelligent, well-humored and social.   Enjoys sketching and does well at it.

ODAIR (13)

Odair is in good health and is developing fine, according to his age.  His teacher says he is loving and warm, studious and gets along well with his friends and other teachers, but has difficulty assimulating the materials and is easily distracted.  An encouraging family could do wonders for him!  Latin appearance.

JONATHAN (13)

This is a boy full of animation, joy and spontaneity.   He is ready to perform and to capture your  heart.   After a few moments, he acts like he has been your friend forever.   Very active. Latin  appearance. 

ALI ( (13)  

Rejected by his mother and extended family, Ali has so much potential that could bloom if encouraged and loved.. Latin, normal, healthy boy.   

GABRIEL (13): 

Gabe is a very timid, very shy boy around strangers. He is a good kid, short for his age, well mannered and calm. He is on par in all developmental areas. He is an average student He does not call attention to himsel and is easy to get along with.  

ERICA (13)
Erica has a good sense of herself and does not behave like an institutionalized child. Everyone likes Erica and all the other girls at her orphanage call her their "best friend." Erica is a leader. She came into care in 2002. She is in the 4th grade in 2005 and likes to read. She also enjoys   individual attention. and she definitely has a sparkle in her eye. Caucasian.  

ILZA (8) + SIMONE (10)

sisters who can be placed in 1 or 2 homes where contact can be maintained.    Each of the girls has much potential.   Latin

GABRIEL(8) + CRISTIANE (11)
have good development in all aread. They enjoy good health. Gabriel is very active, perhaps  hyperactive, and takes medication. Black ancestry.
GIL (8) + ELI (12)

Two beautiful brothers - normal and healthy. Caucasian/Latin appearance

IVAN (9) + JOSE (10)

These two brothers were abandoned by their parents in 1999.   They have a good relationship  with other children and  with the orphanage staff.   No health concerns.   Jose has a little difficulty in learning and in concentrating.   He loves to play and to give hugs.   He also likes drawing.   Ivan does very well in school.   He has strabismus.   Mixed ancestry.  

LUCAS (10) + MAGDA (3)

Lovely brother and sister. Both are healthy. They need to be placed together.

LUCAS (10) & PAMELA (12)
This sister and brother are developing normally and have no delays. Lucas is a blonde-headed, second-grader; he learns easily and is motivated to do so.  Pamela is a shy girl who bonds slowly; she learns easily and her teachers compliment her about her behavior.
 

DAVID (11) + MAX (9)

 If ever 2 boys needed a family, these do!  Sad history ....and without adoption, their future could be sad, also! The brothers have speech and small motor problems.. Biracial to Latin in appearance.

PETER (11) PATRICK (10)

These blonde-haired boys are healthy and normal and need a home. A family is urgently needed.

ROBERT (11) + ERIC (10)

Two handsome brothers of latin appearance.   They have been in care since 1996 and are very   united.   Both get good grades.   Eric is studious, well-mannered, calm, and accepts limits.   Robert is a happy boy, adores sport, a friend to all, sociable, accepts limits, not interested in school. 

LEONARDO (11) + LEANDRO (10)

Healthy brothers who both stutter a bit.   Love to play, do capoeira, play soccer.   Very sweet kids and loving.   They would love to have a family.   Described as wonderful boys by the  orphanage staff.   Leonardo need braces for his teeth. 

ALEX (11) + BRUNA (12)
This fun-loving and active pair needs a family. The children are described as healthy, normal kids who show the effects of institutionalization. Some of their speech is not as clear as it could be. Their education has not been a priority and they are emotionally immature and insecure for their ages. However, within a family context and with support, love and encouragement, it is believed they will overcome any lags. Alex and Bruna are described as affectionate and cooperative;. Latin appearance
and biracial.

FABIO (11) + FABIOLA (13)
This handsome sister and brother first came into care about one year ago. Fabiola is a loving  girl, very studious and sweet. MOre tranquilthan her brother, she is a protector of Fabio. In 2005, she is in the 5th grade, while Fabio is in 2nd. Fabio has become more organized. Instead of fighting, he will often cry to  win his point. Bi-racial.

Two healthy, Caucasian brothers, who often express desire to be adopted together

BRUNO (12) + DOUGLAS (10)
As the youngest boys at their small orphanage, they are receiving wonderful care. Can play for hours.  Both in school  and in 4th and 2nd grades (2004). Douglas has vision loss but vision is stable and he manages fine in a normal classroom. They are happy, gentle, calm children. Enjoy sports and animals.

PALOMA (12) + LUCAS (10):

Paloma, with her gregarious and talkative manner, is the unofficial hostess at her orphanage. Her upbeat and inquisitive ways make her a focus in a group of children. Lucas, 1.5 years younger, is more reserved, tranquil and quieter. Her enjoys being with his friends and going to school. The siblings live in neighboring homes and see each other daily. Lucas is in the 1st grade (2004) and does very well while Paloma has difficulties in school, is in a special class, and needs encouragement. Her impulsiveness and desire for attention make her immature for her age. Lucas loves to play and gets along well with others. Latin and biracial appearances.   

VIVIAN (12) + DION (13) 
Latin brother and sister who wait for a home together. Both are healthy, tranquil, sharing with others,  and of easy interaction. 

TAMIRES(13) & ISABELA (15)

are engaging sisters who are anxious for a family. Normal, healthy children. Tamires loves music and song and Isabela enjoys sports.

JESSICA (15) + PATRICIA (12)

Here are two very sincere, well behaved sisters who want more than anything to have a family! Patricia is very outgoing, while Jessica in quite introverted and extremely shy. Biracial appearance,.

ERIC (7) GEORGE(10) + ELIZA (13)

Cute, nice kids. Very social. All do well in school

CLODOALDO(8), MAICON(7), PAUL(5) RICHARD(6)

Four healthy, beautiful boys. Very active and curious. All make friends easily.

KAITLIN (9) + MATHEW (7) + ALEX (5)

 Two brothers and one sister wait for a family. Kaitlin has had 2 heart surgeries; she tires easily. She also finds school difficult.

Three cute, healthy boys who want a family for themselves. Very social.

JOYCE (10) + FERNANDO (8) + LUANA (13)
Joyce is quite timid; Luana is so excited about the possibility of adoption; and Fernando keeps busy just being a 8 year old boy! Latin appearance.

JOSE (11) + CLAUDIO (9) + BRUNA (6):

Three healthy, "good:", calm siblings need a family. Jose is well organized guy who takes care of his belongings, has many friends, is obedient and does very well in school. Claudio is sweet and loved by all; he also does well in school and is praised by his teachers. Brauna, the only girl in this threesome, passed first grade with good grades. Latin.

Beautiful brothers to fill your house with happiness, joy and activities.   Latin appearance. 

LARA (13) + IVAN (10) + CASSIA (8) 

Lara is a well-behaved girl - neat and responsible and receives good grades. Ivan is a sweet boy - accepting, happy and charismatic. Cassia is intelligent and bright, happy and curious about all. Latin appearance

CRISTINA(11),WILSON(8), CAIO(7) LUIS(5)

Group of four who came into care in 2006 after Mother neglected them. Some learning delays in older pair but a lot of potential in these children. 

SOLEANE (9),JESSICA(8), VANESSA(7), ANDRIANA(6)

Four beautiful, healthy girls that need a home. Very sociable. They want to be placed together

ISAIAH (15) + JEREMIAH ((14) + OSEIAH (12) + JOSHUA (11) + SARA (9)
Four brothers and a sister are very nice kids. They are intelligent, respectful and affectionate. If all five cannot be placed in a single group, the court will consider the placement of the youngest 2 or 3. Latin appearance.
